The short version: Margena doesn't collect any data. Your recipes, prices and suppliers never leave your device unless you share them.
What we collect
Nothing. Margena has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. We don't know who uses Margena, what you cook, what you pay your suppliers or what you charge.
Where your information goes
Nowhere. Costing recipes, pricing menu items, importing a price list and creating PDF and CSV files all happen on your iPhone or iPad. Margena doesn't upload anything and works with no connection at all.
Something leaves the app only when you choose to send it: for example, when you share a recipe card, a menu cost sheet, a CSV file or a .margena backup by AirDrop, Mail or the share sheet, print it, or save it to Files. Where it goes from there is up to you.
Photos
Recipe photos are picked with the system photo picker, which doesn't give Margena access to your library. Margena saves a copy of the photo you pick, without camera details or location.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment. Margena only receives confirmation from Apple, on your device, that the purchase is valid. We never see your name, email or payment details.

Your data is included in your normal device backup, and nowhere else.

Settings › About › More from Cleanware lists our other apps. A link opens the App Store or our website only when you tap it; Margena doesn't record taps.
Children
Margena doesn't collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published here with a new effective date. Margena will never start collecting your data.
