The short version: you buy an app once and it's yours to use, on your own devices, for as long as you like. Desktop apps are sold by Paddle, our reseller; App Store apps are sold by Apple.
Who we are
Cleanware apps are made and sold by {legalName}, an individual doing business as Cleanware, based in Mexico ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hola@cleanware.app.
Who sells you the app
- Desktop apps bought on this website (Mac, Windows and Linux): our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.
- Apps bought on the App Store: Apple sells them under its own terms, including Apple's standard end-user license agreement. These terms apply alongside Apple's where they don't conflict.
What you get
- A one-time purchase. It doesn't renew, and there is no subscription.
- A license to use the app on the computers or devices you own or control, for personal or commercial work. On the App Store, Family Sharing works where the app supports it.
- For desktop apps, a license key sent by email. The app checks it on your device; it never contacts us or anyone else to do it.
- Updates that we release for the version you bought. If we ever offer a paid major upgrade, the app page will say so before you buy, and the version you own keeps working.
What you may not do
Share or sell your license key, remove the license check, or resell or redistribute the app. You may not use the apps to break the law.
Free versions
Every app can be tried free, with a limit (for example a number of documents or a trial period). The limit is described on each app's page and inside the app.
Your files
Your files stay on your device and are yours. We never receive them. Keep your own backups: because there's no cloud copy, we can't restore lost files.
Refunds
See our refund policy: 14 days, no questions asked.
No warranty
We work hard to make the apps reliable, but they are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't guarantee that an app will be free of errors or suit every purpose.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights of the country you live in.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll publish the new version here. Changes never take away a license you already bought.
