Discretia is a private notebook for your practice. Write session notes with templates, sign them, keep an agenda, record measurements and have clients sign consent forms on the screen. Everything is stored encrypted on your device, and nothing is sent to us. No account, no server, no subscription.

SESSION NOTES

  • Templates: SOAP, DAP, BIRP, GIRP, ADIME for nutrition, a progress note and free text, or build your own.
  • Dictate into any field. Speech becomes text on the device; nothing is recorded.
  • Sign and lock a note. Corrections become dated addenda, so nothing signed is ever changed.
  • Activity list for every person: created, signed, exported.

AGENDA

  • Day and week view, repeating sessions, local reminders.
  • Copy a reminder message and send it yourself by WhatsApp or text.

MEASUREMENTS

  • Weight, height, waist, hip, body fat, muscle mass, skinfolds and your own measures, metric or imperial.
  • BMI as a number, progress charts and a progress report PDF.

CONSENT FORMS AND FILES

  • Example consent forms to review with your lawyer, or your own. Versioned text.
  • Clients sign with a finger or Apple Pencil; the signed PDF keeps the exact text.
  • Scan paper forms, import PDFs and photos, all encrypted.

PDF AND BACKUP

  • Export a note, a date range or the full record as a PDF with your name and license.
  • One passphrase-encrypted backup file moves your practice to a new iPhone or iPad by AirDrop or Files.
  • Optional automatic encrypted backup to a folder you choose, such as iCloud Drive.

Data Not Collected

Private by design

  • Every note, file and signature is encrypted with a key that never leaves the device.
  • Notes stay on your device unless you make a backup or export a PDF. Backups are encrypted with your passphrase before they leave the app.
  • Opens with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and hides itself in the app switcher.
  • No account, no analytics, no ads. Nothing is ever sent to us.
  • Reminders say "Session at 10:00", never a name, unless you choose otherwise.
