The short version: this website and our apps collect nothing. The site has no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no third-party services, and neither do our apps. The only personal data we ever receive is what you choose to send: an email to us, or the order details Paddle shares when you buy a desktop app (below).
This website
- No cookies and no local storage. There's nothing to accept, so there's no banner.
- No analytics, no trackers, no pixels. We don't count visitors, and no one else does it for us.
- No third-party requests. Every font, image and style comes from this site. Nothing loads from Google, a CDN or a social network, so your visit isn't reported to anyone.
- One small script, ours. It only draws the animations on the page. It makes no network requests and stores nothing on your device, and every page works without it.
- No forms. To reach us you write an email from your own email app.
- Hosting. Like every website, this one is served by a hosting company, which may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the service running and secure. We don't use those logs to identify or profile anyone.
Our apps
Every Cleanware app works on your device, without an account, a server, analytics or ads. Each one has its own privacy policy that lists exactly what the app keeps on your device and how to delete it. The short answer is always the same: Data Not Collected.
When you buy
- App Store purchases are handled by Apple. We receive only the anonymous sales reports Apple gives every developer, never your name or payment details. The app checks your purchase on your device.
- Desktop apps sold on our website (Mac, Windows and Linux) are sold through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle shares your name, email address and order details with us so we can create your license key and help you with your purchase. We use them only for that, never for marketing, and don't share them with anyone.
When you write to us
If you email us, we receive what you send: your address and your message. We use it only to answer you, and we don't add you to any list.
Children
We don't collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this page ever changes, the new version will be published here. We'll never start tracking visitors.
