Need help? Email hola@cleanware.app. Because Carmesí has no accounts and never sees your data, we can't look anything up for you. Please describe what happened, and never send your diary unless you choose to.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Carmesí works right away and never asks you to sign up.
Where is my data?
Only on your iPhone. Carmesí has no servers and makes no network requests of its own.
How much does Carmesí cost?
It's free for 30 days. After that, one in-app purchase unlocks logging new days forever, with Family Sharing. There's no subscription. Your history, insights, export and backup are never locked, even if you don't buy.
I bought Carmesí. How do I get it on a new phone or after reinstalling?
Style → Carmesí Unlock → Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account.
How do I move my diary to a new phone?
On your old phone: Style → Privacy → Export, and save the file to Files or AirDrop it. On the new phone: install Carmesí, then Style → Privacy → Import. By default your diary is not in iCloud backups, so export before you switch phones.
Can Carmesí sync with iCloud?
No, on purpose. Health data stays on your device. You can include it in your own iPhone backups under Style → Privacy.
How are predictions made?
Carmesí averages your last six cycles (ignoring gaps where you stopped logging) and assumes ovulation about 14 days before your next period. You can adjust the defaults under Style → Cycle basics. Predictions are estimates, not medical advice, and are not a form of contraception.
My period is late. What does Carmesí do?
The Today screen shows how many days late it is, and predictions wait for you to log it. Cycles vary for many reasons. If you're worried, talk to a healthcare professional.
I forgot to log a few days.
Open the Calendar, turn on Quick mark, and tap the days.
Notifications aren't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Carmesí in the iOS Settings app. Carmesí shows a warning under Style → Reminders when they're blocked.
I'm locked out.
Carmesí uses your iPhone's own Face ID, Touch ID or passcode. If Face ID fails, you can use your iPhone passcode instead.
How do I delete everything?
Style → Privacy → Delete all my data, or delete the app.
