Getting started
How many documents can I make for free?
Ten quotes or invoices, with every feature. Converting a quote into an invoice and making payment receipts never count. A single purchase of US$29.99 unlocks unlimited documents forever, on iPhone and iPad. There's no subscription.
What happens to my documents if I don't buy?
Nothing. Every document you made stays yours: you can always open, edit, share, print, export and back it up. Only creating a new quote or invoice past the free ten asks for the unlock.
How do I add my logo and business details?
Go to Settings › Business. Your logo, details and payment instructions appear on every PDF.
Making it yours
Can I change the columns, sections and wording?
Yes. Open a document and tap Customize to change it for that document, or edit a template in Settings › Templates to change new documents. You can turn sections on or off, rename the title, add your own fields and columns, and use simple formulas such as length * width * price.
How does numbering work?
In Settings › Numbering, use {YYYY} for the year, {YY} for two digits, {MM} for the month and {####} for the number with that many digits. For example EST-{YYYY}-{###} gives EST-2026-001.
Can I import my price list?
Yes. In Price list, choose Import CSV. A spreadsheet with name, unit and price columns works; Quotiza shows a preview before adding anything.
Your client log
What does a client's page show?
Their details, a status (lead, quoted, won, lost or paid up), totals (quoted, invoiced, paid, balance due), follow-ups to do, and a history of every quote, invoice, payment, receipt, note and file, newest first.
How is the status worked out?
From their documents: no documents is a lead, a quote is quoted, an accepted quote or an invoice is won, every quote declined or expired is lost, and every invoice paid is paid up. Pick a status on the client's page to set it by hand.
Can I hide parts of the client page?
Yes. In Settings › Client log, turn any section on or off. Hiding a section deletes nothing.
Do clients count toward the free limit?
No. Clients, notes, follow-ups and files are unlimited. Only new quotes and invoices count.
Quotes, invoices and payments
How do I turn a quote into an invoice?
Open the accepted quote and choose Convert to invoice. The invoice keeps a link to the quote. Extra work later? Use New change order on the quote.
How do I record a payment and send a receipt?
Open the invoice, choose Record a payment, then share the receipt PDF.
Does Quotiza collect payments or send reminders to my clients?
No. Quotiza never moves money and never contacts your clients. Optional Follow-up reminders only notify you, on your own device.
Are Quotiza's invoices valid as a CFDI in Mexico?
No. In Mexico, Quotiza's invoices are notas de venta, not CFDI electronic tax invoices; those are issued through the SAT with an authorized provider. Spanish documents say so on the PDF.
Your data
Where are my documents stored?
Only on your device, in Quotiza's private storage. They're included in your normal device backup. There's no account and no cloud sync.
How do I move to a new phone or iPad?
Go to Settings › Backup and export and save a backup file. Send it by AirDrop or save it in Files, then open it on the other device and choose Restore from a backup.
How do I restore my purchase?
Go to Settings › Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Family Sharing works too.
